While it’s not dark and stormy, it is a stiff drink.
6 oz white rum
2 oz Falernum
2 oz Crème de Violet
1 oz Cointreau
2 oz lime juice
Ginger beer or strong ginger ale like Reed’s
Combine and shake with ice in your favorite cocktail shaker or
if you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use a quart size Ball jar.
Fill two tall glasses 1/3 full of ice, strain the mixture into the glasses
and top with ginger beer.
