Haiku
The beast, grunting and
slavering, circles his prey
as vultures gather
****
Stinging insect
the rude messenger of an
uncertain climate
****
The poet lays out
verses as the peacock spreads
his gaudy plumage
****
Observing a doomed
effort, opportunity
to exploit or to aid
****
A dream within a
dream, logic abstracted to
the final extreme
