"Moments
of Life"
A cool ocean breeze
pushes against my face. Tiny little animals chase me while a
love bird laughs as my Guyana hat flies into the air. I can't
see where the sky ends or where the world begins. There are
a moments of euphoria in life that make me appreciate everything.
It is easy to forget beauty when lack of sleep, hunger, stupid
people, and other stressful nonsense gets in the way.

I talked to a young man, about 19 years old, the other day and
he said he was being sent off to war. I saw the fear in his
eyes and I wanted to cry. This sadness was overcome by a feeling
of sickness and then depression. War is wrong. It is started
by millionaires who want more money and power and it is fought
by teenagers who are poverty stricken and passed over by the
education system. There is no beauty in war, someone may declare
victory, but there is never a winner.

The United States of America is an amazing place to be. Run
free and be happy. Don't let television hold you in place and
numb your mind. Don't let an unfulfilling job seperate you from
reality. Like Neil Young sang, "Don't be denied."
Freedom is the greatest feeling in the world. Better than any
chemically induced lie. Everything may not be equal and fair,
but just walk outside and breathe in life.

I shared an amazingly jouyous and intimate moment of life with
104,000 people the other day. For a couple of hours people stopped
thinking and just allowed themselves to be a part of something.
Greed and jealousy had ceased. A large family of brothers and
sisters forgot about psychologically created social boundries
and just let themselves feel happiness. It was a grand event.

Take a walk outside today without bitching about the weather.
Look around. Suck in life. Love the cold air, love the heat,
whatever it may be. There will never be another day like today,
so live. Just don't hurt anybody or anything along the way.
Life is beautiful, enjoy it. Peace is possible.
