So my landlady called on Memorial Day and caught
me home cause I was sick and said she is putting the house on
the market. The good thing was it made me feel like a college
student again. The bad thing was it made me feel like a college
student again. So I dont want to move. It's not that I like the
place so much. I just dont like any other place any better. So
as Paul Simon says "We are homeless. Moonlight sleeping on
a midnight lake." Sounds nice enough but it really sucks.
Cold, wet and dark.
Seems like For Sale signs are popping up everywhere on my street.
And I am only $50k short again. Guess I'll have to wait for the
next cycle (read crash). The banks love me and cant push money
at me fast enough. Me. With no debt. No ex. No child support.
Platinum credit cards. No worries. They cant wait to get their
sticky little hands into my pockets.
And all I want is a freaking garage. A nice fat 2-bay with a workshop
on one side and a place to park on the other. Sure, I'd have an
efficiency upstairs with cable and air conditioning. Surround
sound. Microwave. Close enough to town for DELIVERY and far enough
away to miss the parades. No phone. No
doorbell. No lawn. MAYBE a small deck for a grill.
If Frank Cromer didnt show up with his buddies and trash the
place ...
