have seen him in the 1960s and 1970s.)
2. Trey Anastasio - Phish, Trey Anastasio Band (So many notes,
so many styles.)
3. Keith Richards - Rolling Stones (Keef is God, another one I
wish I could have scene in the 1960s and 1970s.)
4. Ron Wood - Rolling Stones (Great slide player, and the perfect
match to Keef.)
5. Warren Haynes - Government Mule (The perfect southern rock
guitarist.)
6. Derek Trucks - Derek Trucks Band, Widespread Panic (Best slide
guitar player I've ever seen.)
7. Jack White - The White Stripes (You can tell a lot about a
guitarist when he is only playing with a drummer, Mr. White rocks.)
8. Luther Dickinson - North Mississippi All-Stars (Gets better
everytime I see and hear him.)
9. Dan Auerbach - The Black Keys (Best modern Delta Blues player
alive.)
10. Michael Houser - Widespread Panic (No one had his style or
sound, and no one ever will again.)
11. Robert Randolph - Robert Randolph & the Family Band (Brings
so much lifeand joy to his Sacred Steel Guitar playing.) |
